Brian leaves for training this Thursday prior to deploying. I knew with him gone it would be next to impossible for me to call anyone long distance and let them know of the baby's birth. So, I thought if I just hop in here once a day and post something, as soon as I am "missing" you all would be able to surmise that perhaps I was at the hospital having baby. I got this idea (and this website location) from a friend Stephanie. She also was expecting (but recently had her little girl, CONGRATS) and it was neat for me to check her site everyday and see if she had made a post. When a few days went by with no new word, we all knew the baby had come and just had to wait for the details. Now Stephanie if you could just talk me through how to post the countdown calendar you had to show all how far along you were? Ah yes, and the picture of Brian is because I wanted to test out how posting pictures here works and I thought I'd choose a nice one of him since he is leaving soon. Well, thanks for dropping by. Welcome to blogging Meghan! I really wish Brian didn't have to deploy, especially with the birth of his daughter right around the corner. Wish I could be there to help with this one. Who knew we'd ever have daughter's a month apart??? Hang in there and know that you (& the kids) and Brian are in our prayers!!! I can't wait to hear about the newest addition!
Hi meghan! this sounds neat. I will try to check on you when I am on the computer. This way we will probably know about this baby sooner than any of the others. I had been calculating your due date as your own birthday until the message before this one. It could still be a nice birthday present. good luck I'll be watching for news. aunt Pak

Stephanie, how do I post the countdown "ruler" to this website? Pat (AKA Pak), it is great to see you here! And to anonymous, I would adopt some too, if I could get Dad on board, but I don't think he will agree to more than four. Since Dad's not "fixed" though, I tease him that we will get pregnant when he comes home for R&R... with TWINS!!! LOL. Well, I am off to another doc appt. I plan to make a "main" post when I do.
